My husband has had the carpal tunnel release surgery on both of his hands within the last few years.
Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as we had hoped it would with his hand pain. He LOVES hand massages, and I also have carpal tunnel issues, so I can't always give him his hand massages. I recently saw these on a must have items list for working from home, and decided to surprise my husband with one. He was SO surprised and happy with this nifty little hand massager. He uses it almost every day after he gets off work, which helps so much as he does a lot of typing for his job. It is very simple and straight forward to use! The charge lasts about a week for 10-15 minute sessions almost daily. Some days a little more and some days a little less. We are both very happy with this product, and I love buying something that helps alleviate my husbands pain at least a little bit.
Used it for 1week, 2 sessions at a time and definitely 1 more before bed, I’m surprised this thing actually works!
I am not diagnosed with carpal tunnel but I know my right wrist is in pain, I played competitive table tennis in my youth for 7years and computer gaming using a very small mouse pad, which causes excessive wrist control (people, use large mouse pads so you can involve your elbow for turns and less strains on your wrist).
I’m super happy that this thing absolutely works, I tried the 3 settings green red and blue, I believe green is average strength, red is Highest strength and blue is lowest strength, I’ve always used RED together with higher heat setting, the red really will squeeze your hand hard! But I think that’s what really worked for me.
For positioning, I put my wrist in the machine as deep as possible, leaving the fingers out in the front (because my main problem is wrist) and don’t use it for any longer than 2 sessions at a time max because your fingers will get numb due to all the pressure pressing down on your palm and wrist, I usually do one session, rub my hands together for a minute and continue for a second. Adjust a little bit at a time in between pressure pumps.
Try it, you will be amazed as I was and hope this thing will last a really really long time!
I got this hand massager for my girlfriend as she’s on the computer a lot for her work and it looks like her hands get tired a lot, so I figured it would be a good tabletop item to that can give her some relief. The hand massager is pretty easy to use. It’s essentially just plug and play, or charge it up and use it wirelessly. First off, it came in pretty neat packaging as it comes with a bag that acts as a carrying case. It also came with a manual finger massager as well. As for the hand massager, it is simple and has two hand size options for larger and smaller hands. There is also an option to turn on a little heater. The massager does offer a nice little bit of pressure. Although it’s not like some other more expensive ones that I have tried, it does provide some relief. One thing that would’ve been a great addition for us would’ve been a separation for the thumb, instead of simply having the hand in the massager. Regardless, I think this is a good massage option that provides some basic relief to hands after a long day of activity.
Very nice product. Very easy use. My 8 years daughter immediately figured out how to use it without manual. Good strength. Especially around the wrist area, that’s better than a similar machine I tried in my friend’s house. Pretty fast to charge and the design is elegant.
Besides getting older, I've recently taken up the ukulele, so I don't want my hands getting stiff. The pressure is perfect for my needs, and the opening allows me to put my hand in at different distances to cover all parts. It charges quickly and holds the charge well through several uses over several days. I love it
My hands get stiff from overuse, and I have a little bit of arthritis starting. This hand massager uses air pressure to inflate and deflate airbags around your hand and wrist, it's not a rolling, kneading kind of massage. After using it for a few days, I've come to like this pressure type of massage because it's gentler on my joints and bones. I like how light and portable this cordless unit is and I can sit with it anywhere to get my massage.I would highly recommend!
As a long time computer geek I am now getting poison in my hands from long spells using a mouse. This device does help to relieve this pain. It is a little narrow for my hands, but it could be that I did not properly research and choose a unit the right size for me.
